"Troika of Birds"

My poetry "Troika of Birds" has been inspired by three birds that sings outside my window. 

 

Troika of birds,

Hum whimsical notes outside,

Go to the dove cote,

Place of song birds sing, trill, tweet,

Allegro and sixteenth notes,

Tune up as they trill,

Likened to a soft medley,

Soft as a whistle,

Ring forte intensity,

Volume strikes a ‘twine octaves,

A piping song peaks,

Swan song in soprano chant,

Play the boon fiddle,

Harmony hear sensible,

Chant in shades of olive branch.
