Gentleman
Finding a gentleman is like finding a gold mine at this day and age. But every once in a while, and every once in a blue moon, I come across one . . . and he is already taken (of course), and next to a girl with a broader figure. (They usually like broader figures.) Find him dressed nicely in neat appearance with good manners.
I wrote a poem inspired by a brief encounter I had with a gentleman. My poem is written in Shakespearean Sonnet (influence by my reading of Shakespeare's Sonnets).

May I have
this dance with a gentleman?
Thou smile
with a light beaming on thou face,
Light shines
at greater length than shadow on your countenance,
I’d much
prefer a sunnier day to gathering clouds of gloom or glumly day,
I squirm
from drinking brackish water as tasty as sour milk,
Thou smell
is sweet—delectable as fruity sorbet,
I fled
hurriedly from heaths of dry air, weeds, and filth,
By being with
thee, I feel an oasis where I am greeted by cherub,
I demur from
sojourning in such squalor,
When there
is a pleasant space I’d much rather tarry,
Why would
one want to spend time in delouse?
When one can
listen to melodic musical tune which carries,
My heart
gladdens in your warm embrace,
I let out a
chortle through our dance, which thou accepted in good grace.
