Rugged, sturdy men
haul down a rope of windy tapestry at the 2022
Versace Spring/Summer show. A dim space is cooled by a bunch of muscular
physiques. But my eyes cannot linger on
this bunch further. Because they tag
after the Versace’s black sequences—sheer, clean, asymmetrical lines of urban
street wear. Metropolitan looks are accented
with falling reds and dropping yellows—primary colors that drop around slim
collars and waist bands to stress the summer occasion.
Men’s suits are
dribbled with red and yellow marks that tell everyone summer breathes in the
air. Some ensembles resemble costumes,
for instance, embellished yellows with hand prints are much like the tapestry hanging
on the showroom’s ceiling. Then a gang
of glossy retro looks rule the runway.

A trio of luxuriant
vinyl blacks, sizzling hot pinks, and surfing turquoise matched up with shuffled
bandanas contemporize the summer wears.
And a sheeny purple ignites a beam of summer rays onto a bleak spread. A color contrast of cool blue and warm peach seal
the women waistlines. A rush of sets of
burnished copper orange and flickering pink lavender bedazzle onto slim women’s
figures. Iced blues with peach florals
romanticize the Versace jackets.
Nimble, lively
scarf tops (like the handkerchief-top trend years ago) hang onto skinny torsos dancing
lithely on the runway. Notice the models’
skinny forms. Because the skinny models best
showcase the Versace’s summer collection.
Float on a frothy wrap skirt. Or
swim on a lithe bikini top. Snug into a
short, faded denim skirts that bare your own legs.

Men ease into
underweight ensembles of cool blue and thermal pinks that weave into ornate hand-prints. But what captures the Spring/Summer Versace
collection is their use of adjacent and contrasting colors. Look at the use of adjacent orange-red colors
on tops and jackets that sport retro looks.
A contrast of color temperatures made up of blue and pink zigzag form a
diagonal line. A contrast of lime green
and purple patterns finishes the dichromatic looks. Versace’s 2022 summer looks garner two types of
asymmetrical looks: long slits on a
formal black dress or a twisted asymmetrical seal closure for the jackets. The 2022 Versace summer collection completes
with a set of long, solid color evening dresses that fledge the runway.

2022 show while an intense color- contrasting blocks covers the flooring. Blocks of intensely contrasting colors load up
on the floorings. Dior’s Spring/Summer
2022 collection redefines the cropped jackets by a base that finishes a shorter
hem just above the hip. The jackets come
in hard blacks, vivacious oranges, and living greens. Longer coats fill out a contrast of two-tone
contrasts of warm orange and neutral gray.

Tuck, purse, and
ruffle along a pleated seam line that forms a textured, woven black jacket. Dior’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection cuts out
seams into new forms. T-shirt dress is
shaped with a loose, modern cut-edge to freshen up the look. Be daring in a frazzled white top cut out
like shredded papers; rock on in a short, glittery gold dress; don a pair of polished
white shorts. Lime green with a white
print form another zig-zag pattern that suggests a rush of wind on the
freeway. Complementary colors of yellow
and purple make a handkerchief dress.

outside on the broad, dark street walks of Los Angeles. And it is conveniently located by the Chinese
Theater. How giddy it is to have quaint
fashion suit up to the right venue!
Brilliant lights
lit up like Hollywood’s starlights of yesteryears. Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection is a
reflection of the costumes of the bygone era . . . through the looking-glass. Once upon a time in Hollywood, starlet wore
long, glamorous dresses that magnetized men dragging them at their feet. And you will find replicas of those here at
Gucci Spring/Summer 2022 collection.

Fall to the lot of
unblushing boas, ruffed feathers, assorted black dresses, sublimely long
skirts, and refreshed pant suits that mirror the 70s era (sans bell bottoms),
and accessories (my favorite)—Gucci’s glittering gold-plated hair beads mirror
Egypt’s own Cleopatra. Don your manes
like a true queen. Cowboy hats are
frequently accessorized.
First, the ruffed
feathers are raven-black. Arrive and
everyone will look on your spot. Black
dresses are just as raven—magnetic with a deep plunging neckline to reveal
women’s cleavage and long, sheeny mermaid skirts to redouble the passion. Whites are imbued with a sheeny polish like a
satiny pearl. Satiny pearl skirts cannot
be snubbed on the runway. (Note: Sheeny fabrics are worn better on slim than plump
models. They put on extra pounds on
camera.)
Gucci’s dresses
lace, string, and tie up into complex, windy sorts—velvety silver teemed with numerous
folds and glittering gold and brazing silver patterned dress. Rumbling violet amethyst dress stretches out airy,
gentle fabric as mellow as lilacs. Plans
on a nude, aerial fabric weave like cloths that web and net a surface wrap around
the women’s figures.
Men’s suits are
renewed with a plunging U-line that reveals the wide chest along with the crisp,
white undershirt. The overall look
sports a retro 70s look with the wide pants intact but shaped into a linear
plan than the bell-bottoms. Men and
women’s pants suits clinch in shiny finishes or round out to a matte look.

How is the
collection a nouveau vintage? A long,
glossy vinyl black dress marked by a plunging neckline showcases a laced, white
top fashioning a nouveau look. A short,

I closed my curious
eyes and explored how I’d get dressed by these fanciful designer collections this
summer. For the summer 2022, I tried out
Versace’s bold, contrasting colors to
make a statement at the latest, ravenous happenings. Then I bundled up in Dior’s cropped jackets on a cozy weekend evenings. I glammed up in satiny, “Old Hollywood” Gucci dresses after I imagined leaping through
the looking-glass. I revamped myself in Louis Vuitton’s wiry foils, gauzy skirts,
and bonny baby doll tops. I vacationed with
Chanel swimwear and lounged in lithe,
finely-printed, sunny acrylic-rayon dresses. Then I had a flight for romance so I pulled on
a whimsy Dolce & Gabbana’s kinky,
glossy leggings and gold-encrusted fuzzed skirts to flirt with single guys. Create your own fantastic wardrobes to your happenings
